Administrative report filing

Investments under investment permit / endorsement are required to submit quarterly and annual performance reports.

Administrative applications for approval of appointment of expatriates, import list recommendations, etc.

  • Administrative report filing

Quarterly Performance Reports shall be submitted within one month from the end of each quarter whereas Annual Performance Reports shall be submitted by the end of December following respective fiscal year.

  • Administrative applications for approval of appointment of expatriates

Application to be submitted within 7 working days (14 days during the pandemic) from the arrival date of expatriates.  With the appointment approval from the Commission, subsequent work of permit/ stay renewal, foreigner registration certificate application and labor registration can be continued.

  • Administrative applications for import list recommendation 

In order to enjoy import tax exemption on the imports of construction materials and machine during construction period, MIC issues recommendation based on the list included in the approved proposal.

  • Myanmar Investment Commissions is the regulator of Myanmar Investment Law under which investment permits/ endorsements are issued.
  • Other relevant licenses such as construction permit, industrial license, environmetal certificate, fire safety certificate, electricity safety certificate, boiler cerficiate, export/import license, labor registration, foreign expatriate visa/stay renewal, etc. are regulated by respective departments.
